Within this document, you will discover a detailed, step-by-step procedure for activating the RapidDox BulkPro application, accessible through both online and offline modes.

(Using UI) Machines with internet access


To start using BulkPro, you need to utilize the login credentials associated with your RapidDox account.


1. Go to the BulkPro webpage. This should be available on <server-ip>:3333 

Here, <server-ip> refers to the IP address of the server where RapidDox BulkPro is installed. 


2. Enter your username and password. Now click Submit 



3. Click on the machine which you want to activate



4. After successful activation, you should now be on the configuration page.


5. Here, please select the default file processing and file output directories. 


The Default File Processing Directory serves as the primary location for managing and processing your files. 

While it acts as the default path for file selection, users have the flexibility to modify the file location while processing individual tasks as needed. 


Similarly, the Default File Output Directory helps keep your outputs organized and easily accessible. 

Like the default input directory, the output path can be modified while processing individual jobs as needed. 



6. Once the configuration is complete, you can start using the application. Please navigate to the Home page to get started.



The password will be encrypted and stored on the local file system.



(Using UI) Machines without internet access or offline activation

If your machine does not have access to the internet, then follow the below steps to activate the product. 


Prerequisites: 

  • A different machine with internet access 
  • Your RapidDox username and password 


1. Go to the BulkPro webpage. This should be available on <server-ip>:3333 

Here, <server-ip> refers to the IP address of the server where RapidDox BulkPro is installed.


2. Select the “Offline” activation option 

3. Enter your username and click Submit


4. Copy the license request code


 

5. Logon to https://app.rapiddox.com using your RapidDox account credentials. 


6. Go to the “License & Billing” section. Then click on the “RapidDox BulkPro” tab. 

You should be able to see the page shown below:


 

 

7. Click on the machine you want to activate. 

In the popup, select “Machines without Internet access” tab. 

Click on “Activate using License Request Code” button.



8. Paste the Request Code generated from BulkPro and click “Generate a License Activation Code”.



9. Copy the generated “License Activation Code”


 


10. Paste the copied “License Activation Code” and click Submit on the BulkPro’s activation popup.



 

11. After successful activation, you should now be on the configuration page.




12. Here, please select the default file processing and file output directories.

(Using CLI) Machines with internet access

To access the BulkPro app through the Command Line Interface (CLI), you need to utilize the login credentials associated with your app.RapidDox.com account.

rapiddox login -u <<username>> -p <<password>>



After running the above login command, choose the machine type.

 

Available machines to activate:

| 4      | qa           | (qa)

Enter the machine ID to use:

(Using CLI) Machines without internet access or offline activation

If your machine does not have access to the internet, then follow the below steps to activate the product.



Step 1

Run the below command to generate a license request code.

rapiddox license offline -u <<username>>


Example

rapiddox license offline -u [email protected]


License request code generated! Please copy and paste this code on the License & Billing page of RapidDox customer portal:

Step 2

In a machine that has internet access, logon to the customer portal and go to the "License & Billing" Section. Click on the RapidDox BulkPro tab.


In the list of machines displayed, click on the Activate button for the machine that you would like to activate. Click on the "Activate using License Request Code" button. 



Enter the License request code that was generated and click on "Generate a License Activation Code".




Copy the activation command with the activation code



Step 3

Type in the below activation command with the activation code from the previous step.

rapiddox license activate -c <<activation_code>>
