Overview 

The Settings page allows you to configure application-wide settings including directories, time zone, and date format for your workbook processing tasks. 

While directory paths can be customized per task, other settings like time zone and date format serve as global configurations.



Available Settings 


Default File Processing Directory

  • Primary location for managing and processing your input files 
  • Serves as the default path for file selection 
  • Can be overridden when processing individual tasks 
  • Example path: "/home/chris/work/tableau"


Default File Output Directory

  • Designated location for storing all processed files 
  • Ensures organized output management and easy file accessibility 
  • Can be overridden when processing individual jobs 
  • Example path: " /home/chris/work/tableau/documentation"


Job Scheduling Time Zone

  • Defines the time zone used for all scheduled tasks 
  • Global setting that applies to all scheduled tasks 
  • Example: " America/New_York"


Date Format

  • Sets the standard date format for the application 
  • Global setting that applies to all date-related operations and outputs 
  • Example format: "DDMM"
